Digital Scrapbooking from an EX-Scrapbooker
I stopped scrapbooking for many reasons. You could say that it was the cost as scrapbooking is addictive and I might have actually thought: She who dies with the most stuff wins. You could say that it was because of the mess. Unless you have a room dedicated to your supplies, each time you want to scrap you have to get all of your things out. That is unless you didn't put them up after the last time that you used them, then you have to move them to eat.So a few years ago I stored my supplies for the last time. They've sat in a closet downstairs taunting me at times that I should bring them out to play.
But when I was contacted a few weeks ago about trying out My Memories Suite I have to admit I almost refused out of habit. But I am so glad that I didn't. I am having fun learning to use the software. I've created a few pages and although simple in layout, each time I play around I am learning just what it is capable of doing. The best part though is there is no mess. Just a new icon on my tool bar.
When I have to do something...I just save and come back later.
