  1. I love getting to know people through Mingles!

I think food pantries are awesome! We worked in a food pantry when I was in high school and it was so cool to see all the food donations coming in! We also have Angel Food Ministries here and I LOVE them!

I fall for sad stories too EVERY time. Buzz says that panhandlers make a killing too but I just can't turn away from people who look like they're in need. I'd hope people would help me if I needed it you know?

Volunteer work is great fun even when it's not food kitchens, my favorite project is Habitat for Humanity.

Lovely to see you this week Mellisa!

  2. Food pantries are great. Our church has one too and it's great to see how many people they impact each week.

I fall for sad stories too but I'm more apt to give them things not money. Two years ago outside our dollar store there was a young boy and his mom that were selling these paper flowers they had made in order to buy school supplies. I told him that instead of buying a flower I would take him in the store and he could pick out 20 things that he needed for school. He was so excited but his mom told me that they would rather have the money. Totally put me off!

Anyway, I totally love your clips! I'm going to go check out her etsy shop right now. You were totally wearing them right and I think it looked cute in your hair. FLAUNT IT! :)

  3. Love watching your mingles! You're so relaxed.

Food pantries are fantastic. Our church would do "sandwich Sunday" where the whole congregation would make sandwiches for the local shelters. I forgot about that!

I hope you have a great week!

  4. I totally agree with you on all of your mingle points! Helping out at the local food pantry would be just as good - either with your time or your money.

Love the clips! And you made me hungry with your bars. ;)

    Happy Mingling!
