A quilt is a treasure which follows its owner everywhere.
Blankets wrap you in warmth, quilts wrap you in love.
Good friends are like Quilts. They age with you, yet never lose their warmth.
Our lives are like quilts - bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.
Quilters touch the past and the future.
Those who sleep under a quilt, sleep under a blanket of love.
Hello to all!
I have been thinking a lot lately, and thinking about how tight money is and how everyone is going through this financial struggle and how much stress it puts on a family and a marriage etc etc etc.
That combined with the WANT to shop on Black Friday and get killer deals I have decided to see if any of you Etsy shop owners wanted to join in on a BLACK FRIDAY party and have some killer prices (black friday prices if you will) in your shops to help out the financially stressed.
I realize not all of you have an Etsy shop, but I am asking for your help in spreading the word and getting people to join, I think we should ask each shop to list a handful of items at a DEEP discounted price and label them black friday/ or black friday pricing to help direct shoppers to the discounted items.
I also think that we should plan it for a day other than the REAL Black Friday so that we can run around town and get those Black Friday deals also. So what do you think? BLACK WED? before Thanksgiving...?
Who will join me, please leave your link to your shop in the mcklinky, leave a comment with your email addy and your shops sales details and what your shop sales.
If you don't have a shop leave me your thoughts and let me know if you will help spread the word by blogging about it and linking them here, or emailing family friends any anyone you can get to join, let's see how huge this can get!!!
*For all participants, I will put up a site link directly on my blog on a GRAND list from the day you sign up until the sale ends, to get people swinging by and hopefully to show my appreciation*
p.s. if anyone wants to create a PARTY button for this cause please help me out and let's do it!

A little from Polarity:
The Crayola Color Explosion Glow Dome is sure to bring wide-eyed wonder to kids´ faces when the lights go out and they watch their artwork glow and spin on a moving, two-layered dome of light. Kids control the "glow-motion" fun and can dial up slow, medium or warp speed to create a wild, animated scene. For ages six and up; suggested retail price is $29.99.
The Crayola Beginnings Color Me A Song lets little ones draw to the beat of their own drum, trumpet, piano or guitar. This portable drawing and music creation station features a pressure-sensitive board that matches a melody to the artist´s pace. Draw fast, and the tempo picks up. Slow down, and so does the music. Four instrument buttons let kids pick their favorite sound. Color Me a Song was named a "Toy of the Year" by FamilyFun magazine and one of American Baby magazine´s picks for "Best Toys of the Year." For children 24 months and up; suggested retail price is $24.99.
The Crayola Glow Station illuminates children´s imaginations through the magic of drawing with light on a large-size glow-in-the-dark canvas. Using a light wand, children can either draw freehand or use stencils and texture sheets to create more realistic drawings. A diamond-shaped tip can be snapped on the end of the light wand for stamping unique starburst designs on the canvas. Drawings magically disappear over time, or can be "erased" by turning on the lights, so kids can create again and again for limitless fun. For children ages six and up; suggested retail price is $29.99.

I can't wait to see what it is!!
Oh Man did I cry this week while watching the Biggest Loser. While I was so sad to see Abby go -- I definitely think that this was the right person to be eliminated. I am not sure where she found the strength to go on after the horrific things that have happened to her. I love that she continued her weight loss at home!
I just finished watching Kate: Her Story-- and I got to tell you I am baffled by this woman. I realize that her family has benefited financially from the show...that they have got to experience things that would have been otherwise impossible...but how can she not see the costs...why whine that she is lonely...if she wasn't willing to do what is necessary to save her family?

OMGOsh I love love love this show...how funny is MONICA? lol...She will forever be Monica to me...if you haven't checked out this show...get your butts to HULU!! I did notice that she looks to have had a little work done. I love the best friends, young office assistant, the neighbor, ex- husband....man this show has a lot of characters...but it's really funny how they all fit together...and I love love love the episode where they talk about not watching women eat!!
